I felt so mushy after waking up this morning....then when I looked at my celfone there were 15 messages....Oh! I love the holidays!

I've been busy with work....We had a visit yesterday and good thing was we did a good job. We also experienced a very strong typhoon couple nights ago. The huge tree that was standing in front of our apartment was left lying on the ground. Several cars were smashed. I am also devastated with the tsunami that south Asia experienced last Sunday. My heart has been shattered into pieces when I saw all the bodies recovered from the waters. Now, they're starting to experience the after effect diseases. I was crying last night while watching the documentary. I am still hoping that someday I'll get the chance to work with UNICEF or WHO. That will be my greatest accomplishment! Less than two days and another year will pass... |
We felt so full after that "noche buena" and also after eating the left overs yesterday so my dad and I decided to go for a run at the park. I ran about 4 miles while my dad ran/walk 3 miles. I enjoyed running because of the present my mom gave me. It was this radio thingie you put around your arms if you're working out! Deng! I love it so much!. Coz before when I ran around the lake, I feel so bored and get tired so easily. But yesterday, it was unbelievable, I don't want to stop from running! I just wanna keep going! I feel like I'm the energizer bunny! hahahaha! I hope I could do this everyday...
Around 6 PM we hanged out at my uncle's place yesterday... had dinner then had chats regarding the upcoming wedding. Today After attending the Sunday service, we headed to the Portrait studio to have our annual family picture taken. Gees... by next year, there's gonna be 7 of us already! Wow! I wanna do something silly but I changed my mind... I'll probably look so stupid if I did it! hehehe Then we went down south and see THE INCREDIBLES with my aunt. One good movie I can say.... Had pizza at the pizza place then decided to go bowling! It was fun! We had 3 games! Called it a day... Work again tomorrow! Good night! |

MERRY CHRISTMAS!!!!!! LAst night, we held our annual family reunion at my uncle's place. We had a good time sitting by the fireplace and chatting endlessly. My Uncle Ron told me too that they're planning to visit PI next year and I told them that I've been planning about it. My aunt haven't been to PI (she's Filipino btw) and she wanted me to go with them. Anyways, I ran errands yesterday... for last night's "noche buena". As usual, Christmas here was pretty boring. I made some fruit salad with jello, baked macaroni, Christmas brownies, and pinakbet. I enjoyed going to the grocery store yesterday! it was so crowded! I've got lots of present from my secret Santa!!! yehey! I enjoyed this season, too because I always get a BUNCH of text messages and fone calls! especially from my "seasonal" friends in the Philippines! (WHat I mean is: my friends in PI who rarely send text messages abroad coz it's expensive!:p) My news is this: My brother is getting married on January 3 at Las Vegas! I'm going to be an aunt soon! |
I still can't believe what just happened...
It happened so fast that I wish we could go back and start over!....For sure, the whole family didn't sleep well last night... I don't want to be negative but I am struggling my way up to positive...All I'm doing right now is holding on to God's promises...If my heart is shattered into pieces what more are my parents' feelings.... I really don't feel like talking about it yet... My Christmas this year is a bit ruined...but hey! we have to move on right? *sigh* |
Deng... I don't know what I'm feeling right not... I thought we were different but I guess we always have to expect the unexpected....Things happen for a purpose and I know God has plan why this thing happened....
I am so concern with my parents...all the dreams and stuff...I, being the eldest among my siblings...I don't know that to expect... I feel that all the burden are now on my shoulders... I feel so weird!.... I hope we can get through this... I don't want to be selfish neither form some kind of grudge......I guess I haven't experience this kind of emotion yet and my "psychology" thing isn't working with me.... *sigh* *sigh* *sigh* |

I had fun with the youth Christmas party earlier today!...I exchanged a 20 dollar gift card from Coffee Bean to a laundry hamper and 10 bucks gift card from Starbucks... Anyways, I received a call from my dear froggy buddy! Thanks and I always appreciate you remembering me....:) I bought my mom and dad new celfones...Actually, I have Christmas presents for them already but I still feel I need to give more!...I just want to express how thankful I am for their unconditional love!!!! 4 more days til Christmas! |

The Christmas Cantata last night was a blast!... We never thought that tha whole auditorium will be filled with people....Some of the choir members were nervous when they took a glimpse of the audience. If you ask me, I wasn't nervous it's just that I got use to standing in front of many people ever since I was a kid. So last night, I tried to be as jolly as I can be to spread my "confidence" with the nervous ones... Anyways, I thought about not putting this here but it was so on top of my head that I need to get rid of it! Hahaha! As you know, I have this crush at church and I've been around with his family A LOT lately because of this Cantata thing... (except for him of course, in which I really want to spend time with him!) Well, last night, I tried to avoid his mom coz mahn! she's never quit on checking on everybody's costumes, make-ups, and stuff...It was cute at first but eventually, I just need a little quiet time for myself! hahahaha!. You know what she did and hopefully you'll agree that it's a little annoying... * she keeps on pulling me to stand beside her in which I cannot because the positions were all set! * she keeps on telling me to make my voice a little louder in which I already did! * she tells me not to show my hair * she told me to put more make-up! we'll be using spotlight and according to her, we have to put make-up one( OMG! this is the funny one, I already did put make up on but she grabbed her purse and told me to sit so she can do my make up. She put this blush on, she wanted my eyes to get a little bigger by putting more eyeshadow, she then put powder, and finally a very very very red lipstick) * then before we went on stage, she told me that she's gonna helped my out improve my voice so I can reach a really high note (sing soprano one in short) because she really like my voice! I don't want to be mean, so I just go with the flow. And mahn! she's the mother of my eyecandy for heaven's sake! of course I am always gonna be nice with her! Oh well, I really like their family and always enjoy hanging around with them...Last night, we decided to see the video of the program at her sister's place...I looks so freakin weird with all that make up on (anyways, I wiped out the lipstick after she put it on my lips, I used another instead Hehehe) *sigh* the highlight of my night besides that the program was a blast, was noticing him that he looks cute with a red turtleneck! Awww.... |

I woke up early today to get ready for Noreen and Ace's Wedding.
It was "bayside" kinda wedding coz it was held at the bay side at Point Loma Base. It was cute and simple meaning not too many people. Just the family of both sides and a few close friends and churchmates. The ceremony is nice with a hint of humor since Ace has been a "funny guy". Can you imagine both of them inserting "words" which were not really in the vows! They chose maroon as the motiff of the wedding. I kinda like the bridesmaid's dresses. It made me wanna think about mine someday! Hahaha! Anyways, at the reception, people are starting to comment when am I GOING TO HAVE MINE! OMG! It freak me out a bit! People are thinking about that already????? Yeah, I thought about it but mahn! I haven't found the RIGHT guy yet! Hahahahaha! Anyho, the guy who definitely captures my eyes everytime I see him was there. Deng! I never can imagine that a guy like him still exists on this earth! (He's the most shy guy I ever met!) But, all I can say, he made my day! I haven't seen him for like four months and it's nice seeing him again with his goatee! (Sheesh...he always look good with that) After spending several hours of my girlyness, three guys asked me to accompany them shopping for presents! Now, I started to ooze a little of my masculine side! Growing up with two guys has always been a handful. But I always enjoy every single part of it coz I get to know stuff about guys. Hahaha! Where did I left off??? 12/10 Friday I didn't attend the last day of class for my RWS class...since I've been exempted from the Finals, I didn't bother to attend class no more...*teehee* 12/11 Saturday My brother woke me up at 7AM asking if I could pick him up at National City then drop him off at work (@ the base). His friend borrowed his car and unfortunately, the friends who was supposed to leave him his car, didn't left his keys. In short, he doesn't have a car to drive. So there, I drove 30 minutes, then another 20 minutes from his house to work. Of course, I still have to pick him up, right? I've been a chauffeur this day... My plans for this day has to change since I'll be spending most of my time on the road. I later on accompanied my mom to do grocery shopping for our "potluck" later that night. After a few minutes of bugging my youngest brother, I started preparing my menu...EXactly after I was done with my "pinakbet" I got a call from my brother that he's ready to go home. Then we headed to the church's Christmas party. Deng! that was fun although I was missing something! hehehe! The MISLETOE! I'm kidding!.....We got an excellent two way radio (5 miles) in the exchange gifts. Since my Navy brother will be spending the night with us, my siblings decided to rent some movies and use our coupons! hahahaha! We rented DODGEBALL. Deng! that movie was so hilarious! We had a little sibling bonding later that night and decided to sleep together in the living room! The sad thing was, I was pushed out of the bed because my two humongous brothers were occupying all the spaces! I was left with no choice but to sleep on the carpet! 12/12 Sunday Woke up really early because we're going to have our Christmas Cantata practice. I also have to teach Sunday School which I love to do!!!! My siblings returned the movie we rented after the service and headed to Holliwood Video and rented some more. We got The ELf and SPecies III. LAter that night, I started procrastinating for my 10 page paper! 12/13 Monday No school but heck tired with work! So stressed out in finishing my paper!!!!!!!! and also studying for my History class! 12/14 Tuesday Doomsday! Just Kidding! I finally manage to finish my paper as well as the other paper...I am ready to take the test. Good thing it was easy! I almost filled the whole blue book with my essay answers! just to impress my freakin Filipino professor! My friend Chissa decided to study International Health together but we ended up eating at the East Buffet. We pushed ourselves to the library so we can go on with our studying, but ended up chatting nonstop! OMG! I talk a lot! I went to Bally's after that meaningful studying, and started reading where I left of in the book When DReams Come true!... 12/15 Wednesday No school! heck tired with work! Stressed again for my Health class...Remember I didn't study yet? I need to bash myself huh? I went to Bally's again and opened my book while working out! I've been hooked with the Ludy's book and I feel mushy eveytime I read it. Studied for 2 hours when I got home. 12/16 Thursday Yes! one last test! It's not that bad, the test was easy.... I went to Bally's again hoping to finish the book. Mahn that was the most amazing book I ever read. Then went to practice... WAtched The Apprentice  I finally finished reading the book When Dreams Come True!!! It was so awesome! I will start reading a new book, THe Notebook by Nicholas SParks

I've been pulling my hair last night! I can't control myself from snapping to anyone I feel like snapping to. I am so stressed out!
I have to finish my Psych paper by 7 PM. I am off at work at 5 PM. I have to pick up my mom and my brother. Gees...I am so procratinating and I end up plagiarizing everything!!!! Oh I was so frustrated!...Then I took a shower to lessen my stress. Started studying for my Finals around 8 PM. Good thing, the coffee started kicking in. Around 9PM, I got a call from my groupmate telling me to forward my paper to our other group member!. Miscommunication! she was supposed to turn it in. She then asked me if I can just do it coz she's studying, too! Duh! as if I'm not! I have 4 chapters to read! Okay...so I did it. Around 10 PM, got another call from the same groupmate, she said that one of our groupmates didn't know that she was supposed to turn in the final paper. In other words, she didn't finish her part of the paper! We were planning to turn it in today but since she didn't do it, we have to postpone it and just submit it on Tuesday! What the! I went through all the troubles but it ended up that it wasn't worth it! Gees! I am so upset which I tried to overcome coz I got to focus on my review! That's why I am not a fan of group paper, some people are just irresponsible! Enough of my freakin story... Aside from studying, I am busy with doing my Christmas shopping and wrapping it up! I sold all my textbooks earlier and I am glad I have extra money. I have two Christmas parties to attend this weekend. I'll be cooking pinakbet as requested on Saturday night and grilled salmon on Sunday afternoon. My Freakin Filipino professor informed us this morning that the study abroad program has been approved. It's gonna be on summer for 6 weeks.It's gonna be at UP Diliman. I am so interested because the program sounded so great! It costs $4500 though , airfare, tuition, food, and lodging included. I'll be inquiring with the Financial Aid office if they give financial grants for this kind of program. Alrytie! |
I had a very lousy morning!
Oh yeah, you read it right L-O-U-S-Y... why? My 8 o'clock class which is History 422 made my first two hours of consciousness miserable. My freakin Filipino professor told the whole class that our term paper/group paper is gonna be due on Thursday. Everyone freaked out of course after hearing an unexpected project! We all though it's gonna be a group project but he told us that it was too late coz group projects are meant to be presented in class. Thursday is gonna be our last day of class coz next week is the Finals week. OMG! he even insisted that everything that he said is in the sylabbus! and it's not! There's no chance that every individual can write 8 to 10 page term paper by Thursday. He was so upset as the students began cussing and complaining about this issue. He yelled "Is there any problem?" with an attitude. He even started smashing all the papers that were on his table. Then he started calling out names and asking questions about the reading assignment. For sure, nobody bothered to read all the readings. He even tells you if he didn't like your "guessed" answer, "You didn't answer my question!". And mahn! he scared the heck out of everybody because he randomly calls out names and started humiliating in front of the class. My heart is pumping because I didn't read anything and I am scared to make a fool out of me in front of the class. I felt so sorry for my two classmated because he keeps on picking on them. Good thing, he didn't call me. After 45 minutes of torture, he smiled with a statement " See, this is how you role-play!" with a grin on his face! Gees...is he kidding???? heck yah! all the students felt bad because he did such terrible thing! The non native Filipinos were all shocked that all the time he was screaming at us is just a part of role playing as a "Filipino Professor". It wasn't nice.... Now, I have to finish a freakin 10 page paper in which I have no idea what is it gonna be! He's such a loser! And he's so conceited! He always brags about his accomplishments. There's nothing wrong with that, but the thing sometimes mocks Filipinos here in the US. |  The San Diego Chargers won over the Denver Broncos with a score of 20-17. I've only seen the first half of the game because I have to go with my mom to do shopping...But men, I heard the tickets were almost sold out... The only tickets left were the $165 and up. Though the weather is pouring, it didn't stop the fans to see them play.

I need to finish my paper on MPD...then I also have to do an in class essay about censorship tomorrow!... |  Finally! after almost five years of residing here in San Diego, the whole family got the chance to visit Sea World. The place is just a 15-minute drive but we never set foot on the said theme park. Today, is my brother's 21st birthday and my parents treat the whole family for a trip at Sea World. It was nice although my mom keeps on thinking about the possible dishes she can make with those fishes! Hahahaha. I enjoyed the dolphin show and a little bit of the Shamu show. I love the penguins, the polar bear, and the walruses. I was amazed with the way they made the shark's aquarium. It was like a jungle. I was eeeked by the octopus, it was so nasty loking creatures! Don't get me wrong, but I did get goosebumps when I saw them...
My whole body is sore! from the running yesterday...  Just got home around 10 PM after watching National Treasure starring Nicholas Cage...the movie was alright... it made me want to take some American History classes....

I got the new Jack in the Box antenna ball!... the REINDEER BALL!...heck yah! I've been collecting those eversince I got here in the US...This one is gonna be funny and it totally opposes what I just posted.... I only got two antenna balls so far, the Chargers and the Reindeer... hahahaha! I went to Miramar Lake earlier...ran 3 miles...my back hurts! it's worth it though coz I don't feel any guilt! hehehehe I gotta finish my paper on Multiple Personality Disorder... We are going to SeaWorld tomorrow! at last! |
I've been telling you about the cold weather that San Diego is experiencing right now...
This morning, my very first time to see frost on my car! Oh yeah baby!... I thought it was just a regular fog but when I tried to use the squeegee, it was frozen!...so cool! How I wish it was snow!... According to the weather report, this weird chills will be around for quite a while...they have no idea for how long though... I'm still thingking about switching major at SDSU... 23 days before Christmas! |
Oh men...I've been thinking.. coz there is a very very tiny chance that I can get in at SDSU school of nursing..so since I'll be waiting for probably two years for Nursing school at other colleges, I've been thinking that I can probably get a BA in Psychology while attending SDSU....double major in short...
