Just got off from my Linguistics class and I received an A+ for my first writing assignment.... We had a pop quiz ,too but I don't wanna worry about that coz i think I did great.... I am here sulking at the library waiting for my next class which is not until 3 PM.... I am doing my homeworks and reading assignments so it is all good.... I wonder what should I eat for lunch???? Another Panda Express maybe....coz that's the only decent food they have here in the cafeteria.... I gotta go back to my work now... laterz! |

If you will ask how my first week at school went...well... here it is: I have a darn hot professor at my Psych Physiology!!! Whoa!!! he's this really hot geeky, nerdy, guy with a good sense of humor! He's married though so...that doesn't mean that I can't flirt with him! hahaha! ... I still have to learn about the proper ways of flirting since I am not really good at that! :p What is up with me??? I mean what is up with me liking older guys... When I was in high school, I was so into my English teacher!!! I always try to impress him with my perfect scores...I also remember how jealous I was with his girlfriend who was the sister of the guy I am talking about who proposed to me... Then in college...there was this very cute Programming intructor I can't get my eyes off...his dimples are just so adorable!!! I always try to mess up with my program so I can asked him to help me with it... Then at work, there's this cute guy...Ohh... he just looks so great! but mahn! he's married! I am one crazy girl!!!.. I am here at he library resource center...killing time... well yeah... my next class is not til 2 PM so I thought I could chill a little bit... I went to the Undergraduate Advising Office and declared a change in major...I talked to an adviser about my classes and I am qualified to get into the Psych major directly without declaring it a pre-major. I finally said goodbye to Nursing here at SDSU and will just stick to my alternative plan. It's a good feeling that finally I am now into a PROGRAM! I was told to drop my Stat class since I took an Elementary Stat class before at a junior college. But I will be left off with 11 units and they need 12 units for financial aid to be considered full time. So I am having second thoughts if I'm gonna drop it or not. I sucked at my previous Stat class before and didn't learn anything although I passed it. Oh well.... Almost lunch time... |
First day of Spring Semester...well.. so far so good...
According to ratemyprofessor.com, my Psych 201 professor is hot... whoa! he is! I guess it's all in the hair! hahaha! I mean he has this curly hair and this nerdy look with that black eyeglasses...Darn! I think I'm gonna enjoy his class... He's pretty cool... I got a headache though...I have no idea why but probably because I was worrying last night about my parking permit that I can get a ticket. I'm just so stupid that I didn't read my previous Fall permit that it expires today...Sheesh! I haven't met any Filipino classmates yet and I am hoping to meet one tomorrow. Darn! I've been using English this whole darn day! I am so dying to speak Tagalog at home!... Nyt! PS... My silly thing is connected to one of my NYRs...haven't received any response yet... |

Patience is a virtue......
The saying the keeps me holding on when I feel like giving up... Anyways, the last time I posted here was about me being so upset. I kinda forgot about this saying that resulted to a very negative feeling... Two of my friends got in to the Nursing program. They both got their call last Friday telling them about this great news. I am happy for them but somehow I can't ignore the fact that I am jealous. I just can't believe that I am not good enough so I was not able to get in. I've been miserable this past two days coz I am still trying to avoid the truth... Sometimes things don't end up the way you want them to be. I am one stubborn young lady that closes her eyes everytime this stuff happens. Last night, I decided to drop out of SDSU, put that Psychology major on hold and go for the nursing program at Maric College. A bunch of people has been telling me lately that I should just go for the fast route instead of waiting two years coz it will all end up the same way. So early today, I grabbed the fone, dialed the number and scheduled for an appointment. Almost everything is set except the test I need to take to get into the program. The program will start on April 25th and I hope I can finally get it. It will take me 18 months to get my RN license and will be in debt of probably $25,000. The plan of visiting the Philippines might happen before April 25th if ever I won't get any school breaks on December. I still have no clue if I am meant to pursue this career of not but I will hold on.... Today, is the EYECANDY's birthday. I am not sure if I can make it to the party later... My sister in law gave birth yesterday. Everybody was anticipating that it will be the first week of February but I guess the baby can't hold it no more that he decided to see the world in January 21st. I have no idea what the name of the baby yet and how heavy he was. My brother sent me the picture and deng! he looks like my younger brother, Jireh! I haven't talk to her yet but I will post pictures whenever it is ready. I am now a certified aunt!!!! |
Why is it that life is so unfair????
I don't want to have any grudges or anything... it's just that I have so many questions in life that needed answer.... I don't want to end up miserable for the rest of my life...I don't feel good... I am running, right?? then suddenly, I felt weird, goosebumpy, and itchy. I wonder why???
I went to the park after work to jog. After running for 30 minutes, red spots starting appearing from my body. The back of my ears and my ears were all red. I can feel that my upper lip was starting to be swollen. Gees.. did I just had an allergic reaction??? It was so weird and my guess was... it was probably the air....I am not certain but for sure I am allergic to pollen.. this time it wasn't sneezing but spots... Anyways, I ran home immediately and took a warm bath.... I am doing okay now.... While running, I always enjoy looking at these people doing stuff... I mean different stuff in different parts of the park. A couple cuddling at one of the benches but they were fighting the first time I pass through. About 8 firemen were playing volleyball while the two fire engines were parked at the curb. 4 Mexicans were playing soccer. An old guy running back and forth at the football field. A dad teaching his son to bat the baseball. 3 kids riding their bikes. Two guys chatting under the pine tree. And two Hispanic ladies walking around the park....I am one observant YOUNG lady...My mom keeps on telling me to lessen this character but I guess I just can't help it... it's a gift! |
The youth went to see a movie last night which ended up a couple. White Noise by Michael Keaton and Coach Carter by Samuel L. Jackson.
After the movies, I felt so bad and nauseated that I wanted to throw-up. Probably, because we went home so late, around 1 AM. Then as always, everytime that I won't be in bed by 12 AM, a pimple will pop up just like that! I don't know what's wrong but it's starting to be weird... I'm not kidding! The family dropped off my brother to the Navy airport because he's gonna be gone for a month...so as of this moment, I'll be using his Xterra!!!! Hahahaha for me! I got a text message from my sistah in law telling me that she's having a BOY! Oh men! BOY again! I said to myself!...Can't you hear me??? I am complaining! What's up with boys, huh??? I have two brothers...two boy cousins(well, that's here in the US)...Gees!!! BOYS BOYS BOYS!!!!Whoa! the selfish me is acting up again!.. Anyways, it's nice to know that the baby is healthy... BTW, I wanted to visit PI this coming summer but the extended family wanted this December...Oh well... let's just see how it works... |

I went to the library to register for my spring classes... I am a little disappointed when two of my most wanted classes were closed already! Anyways, I love to put all my classes in Tuesdays and Thursdays but unluckily, I have to be in school from Monday til Friday which leaves me the idea to ditch this semester as well... Hayayay! I guess I'm just tired...Deng! I will be loaded with 5 Psychology classes this semester...can I handle it???? |
Whoow...the winner of the reality show, THE BIGGEST LOSER lost a total of 117 pounds in three months! It was incredible! He just motivates me to keep on going!
School will be starting in two weeks and I will get the chance to register for my classes on Thursday..it will definitely be a bloody one since I will be taking 4 Psychology classes plus 1 writing class which is linguistics. It's Drew Brees' birthday on the 15th and my eyecandy on the 21st.. isn't that great? hahahaha!!! |  Jennifer Aniston and Brad Pitt calling it quits??? Anyways I am starting to become one of the anchorwoman of Access Hollywood so I better end up with this...  I rented Wicker Park last night at I never thought that I would like it...I like the storyline and the way they presented the movie...it's not confusing like some other movies that goes back and forth from present to past and vice versa... and of course, Josh Hartnett was the leading man so who cares if it sucks! I might as well brag of his cuteness! Awwww.....
It's still raining.. no wonder I was sick last night....if ever you fee like you'll feel that you think you're going to have a flu...drink Theraflu... it really works! Now, I'm good to go! I even went to the gym earlier to do my daily routine... Alrytie... I better start kicking somebody's butt, remember I'm a German Shepherd?! Hahaha! I'm just kidding! |  It was Chargers versus Jets last night...I freaking lost my voice cheering and jeering! Hahaha! All tickets were sold out and although it was pouring, tailgaiters camped outside in preparation for the playoffs!
Unfotunately, they lost by one kick! Gees...Other fans were pessimistic about it and others were optimistic!....It was a good game though but I still can't believe that everything was messed up because of one stupid KICK! On the bright side, I am willing to be Drew Brees' mistress! Hahaha! I'm kidding! |

OMG!
I am so broken hearted right now! I lost my 5 year celfone!... and guess what it was so shocking how I lost it... I went to go pee and I put my fone in the my sweatshirt's pocket. When I went and leaned forward to flush the toilet, my fone slipped and went in the urinal! OMG! I thought it will float but it's not....It was gone all gone!!!!! It was now floating inside that freakin septic tank! poor fone! I am so depressed! as if I lost a BF or something....the alarm clock that wakes me up everyday....all my friend's fone number, those secret fone numbers I have, all important numbers! I sounded so pathetic..but that fone has been part of my ups and down! Waaaaaaaahhhhh!!!!! Oh well, on the bright side, I can get a new fone! I hope I can still keep my old fone number... |
The Trip to Las Vegas
We left San Diego last Sunday at 2:30 PM. We used my Uncle Jun's Suburban with Uncle Ron, Auntie Vangie, Auntie Gilda, Mommy, Lola, Jireh, and myself. We had two stopovers that resulted to a 5.5 hour drive instead of 5. While on the way, we had a lot of chitchats, farting and burping, and laughters all mixed up! The laughter was caused by the CD my Uncle Jun was playing...it was all OPMs which includes Freddie Aguilar's, Yoyoy Villame, and other oldies. OMG! it was so hilarious and so ghetto! We arrived at Circus Circus Hotel around 7:30PM...We checked in and left all our bags in our rooms. We headed to TODAI which is located at the Paris Hotel coz everybody has been craving for seafood. We got to Paris around 8 and we went round and round the place looking for the buffet but we simply can't find it! We asked for directions and finally we found the place around 9 PM. Unfortunately, they close at 9:30 so we have to eat in 30 minutes! Men! our family is really hungry that we didn't care as long as we savor those food on the counters! I went and had my sushi! clams, and salmon! I also had my crab legs 101 with my Uncle Ron as my professor. Yummy! and the lobster!!! Hmmmmm.. soo good! In the first 15 minutes, you will never hear anyone say a word! Everybody's pigging out! Hahahaha! We pay 30 bucks per person but it was all worth it! The "oldies" were so tired that they just decided to go up to their rooms and sleep. Jireh and I went around the casinos and slot machines...but the smoke started suffocating us....We went to our room and bothered our mom. We called my brother Asher but they went to Walmart coz he forgot to bring his shoes for the wedding. Around 12 midnight, he came up to our room and we decided to have another walk. THe arcade place was closed that we just decided to have some pina coladas. Good thing was my brother and I are allowed to buy some drink! We finished our drink and maybe around 1 AM we called it a day. We headed to our room but didn't sleep probably until 3 AM because we were having so much fun bothering each other. My mom started freaking out because we were so noisy!... The Wedding The wedding was held at the hotel's chapel at 11 AM. It was just simple but really cute one. THere were probably 20 people. IT was just 15 minutes but it's pretty darn adorable! I bothered to joke around the photographer coz he was messing up with me! hahahaha! Everybody in the crowd were so quiet but when I stood up for the photograph everybody cracked up in laughters! Deng! they're so freakin serious and as you know, I love messing up with seriousness! hahaha! After the reception, we headed home back to sunny San Diego! On our way home, it was raining cats and dogs... and when we passed the mountains/valleys, it was snowing!... Again, my uncle played his ghetto songs! and started teasing me with Bong because I was singing the song "Finally found someone" OMG! I felt so embarassed! coz everybody knows about him already! We got home safe and sound! |
I am so dead tired!...We just got home from Las Vegas, Nevada. I will try to pull out all my stories tomorrow!

My 2004's New Year's Resolution
*opens up my journal* Last year, I had 12 resolutions: 1. done! (Follow God's will) 2. half and half (Be prayerful) 3. partial! (Read the whole bible) 4. yeah...I did half of the target! (Lose weight) 5. done (be healthy by avoiding too much carbs and sweets) 6. 50/50 (always be patient) 7. done (set realistic goals and accomplish it) 8. done (set higher GPA) 9. done (explore the world by being extra friendly) 10. hahaha...I guess I've done half this (always be content) 11. half and half (save 10% of my paycheck) 12. woohoo I've done it! (pay off all credit card balances) My 2005's New Year's resolution Oh.. this one will be kept in my private journal and I will expose it next year! Things I'm thankful for the year 2004 1. I met my froggy buddy in January 2. I had 2 car accidents but God kept us all safe especially that very scary one. 3. I surpassed my mood swings with the help of my Mom. 4. My 24th birthday didn't end up miserable like the past couple of years. 5. I enjoyed my stay in SDSU and achieved my expected grades.. 6. I was able to meet Chissa, my "daldal" buddy... 7. Most of all, I am very thankful for all the people who keeps on loving me no matter what! my parents, my brothers, and my friends! |
New Year's Eve
I received a call from "someone" and he's telling me that he's at Long Beach, CA and wants to see me. I somehow broke his heart by telling him my true feelings. I felt bad after the end of our conversation but what can I do??? I just want to be truthful to myself and even to him. I can hear him crying on the other line, I made him so upset. The words that he said after I told him that I am inlove with someone crushed my heart. He was still hoping though after all that I said. Enough has been said... ****** I baked two kinds of brownies, one blonde and another was confetti. I also made a fruity gelatin salad. Anyways, we spent the rest of the evening at Ate Kathy's place (Bong's sister :P). This is the happiest New Year I ever had eversince we got here in the US. It is noce to celebrate it with fellow Filipinos coz they celebrate it like Filipinos. If you know what I mean...Hahaha!!! I got bored the first few hours but later on we started playing games as we wait for midnight. We had guesstures, pictionary, and charades(spelling?). It was fun!...I learned a new thing about him, too! He's left-handed and he can draw. I also noticed that he's really freakin strict! I mean with the rules of the games! I find it funny though. At midnight, our countdown became the highlight! Kuya Sergio (his brother in law) started throwing $1, $2 bills, and quarters in the air! That was the noisiest part! You can hear all of us screaming and bursting in laughters while the kids on the othe hand started crying because the adults stated stepping on them! Hahaha! At 1AM we headed home... Whew! it was awesome....Happy New Year!!!! | |
